Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SMASH ZONE, NKRUMAH ROAD, MOMBASA. By booking or using our padel facilities, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Bookings & Payments

• All court bookings must be made via our online booking system, mobile app, or in person at reception.
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept cash, M-Pesa, and card payments.
• A valid booking confirmation (email or SMS) must be presented upon arrival.
• Courts are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee court availability without a confirmed booking.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking: Full refund or credit to your account.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking: 50% refund or credit.
• No-shows or cancellations made less than 2 hours before the booking: No refund.
• To cancel a booking, contact us via phone, email, or through the booking platform.
• Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.

3. Court Usage Rules

• Courts are available strictly during your booked time slot. Late arrivals will not receive extra time.
• Players must vacate the court promptly at the end of their session to allow for the next booking.
• Only padel equipment is allowed on the courts. Shoes with non-marking soles must be worn at all times.
• Maximum of 4 players per court at any given time (doubles format).
• Food and drinks are not permitted on the courts. Water bottles are allowed.
• Smoking, vaping, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited on the courts.

4. Safety & Conduct

• Players use the facilities at their own risk. Smash Zone is not liable for any injuries sustained during play.
• All players must warm up properly before playing and play responsibly to avoid injury.
• Abusive, aggressive, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove players without refund.
• Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Players must follow all safety instructions provided by staff and coaches.

5. Equipment

• Padel rackets and balls are available for rent at reception.
• Players are responsible for any damage to rented equipment and may be charged for repairs or replacement.
• Personal equipment must be stored in designated areas. Smash Zone is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

6. Injury & Liability

• Smash Zone is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues that occur on the premises.
• Players are advised to consult a doctor before engaging in physical activity if they have any pre-existing medical conditions.
• By using our facilities, you acknowledge that padel is a physical sport and carries inherent risks.

7. Weather & Force Majeure

• In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, storms), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings for safety reasons.
• If we cancel a booking due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or credit to your account.
• Smash Zone is not liable for any disruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., power outages, natural disasters).

8. Photography & Media

• Smash Zone may take photos or videos for promotional purposes. By using our facilities, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
• If you do not wish to be included in promotional materials, please inform our staff.

9. Data Protection

• We collect and store your personal information (name, email, phone number) solely for booking and communication purposes.
• Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
• You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time.

10. Right to Refuse Service

• Smash Zone reserves the right to refuse service or entry to anyone who:
• Violates these terms and conditions
• Engages in disruptive or dangerous behavior
• Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Fails to comply with staff instructions

11. Changes to Terms

• Smash Zone reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Continued use of our facilities after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
• Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Mombasa, Kenya.
